What Azure permissions does RangeHarbor need?
Read-only access only. We use Microsoft's standard OAuth consent flow — Cost Management Reader for the Azure Cost Report, and read-only Microsoft Graph permissions for Entra ID monitoring (user profiles, last sign-in times, MFA registration status, and risky-user signals). A Global Administrator or Privileged Role Administrator must approve the Graph permissions. We never touch your resources and no credentials are shared.
Do I need a specific Microsoft license for the Entra ID Health Monitor?
Stale-account and MFA data require Microsoft Entra ID P1 or higher, which is included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium and most enterprise plans. Risky sign-in detection requires Entra ID P2. Without P2, the risky sign-in section of your report is shown as unavailable and the rest of the report is unaffected.
How long does onboarding take?
Under 5 minutes. You authorize access via a standard Microsoft consent page, fill in a short form, and you're done. Your first report arrives the following Monday.
What if I have multiple Azure subscriptions?
Multi-subscription is fully supported. All subscriptions under your billing account are included automatically — no extra cost.
Do I need any additional software or subscriptions?
For the Azure Cost Report and Entra ID Health Monitor, no software is required — just authorize read-only access to your Azure tenant. For the Patching & Compliance Reporter, a lightweight agent is installed on each managed device. We handle the setup and management from there.
Is the Azure Cost Report really a flat fee regardless of my Azure spend?
Yes — $75/month regardless of how much you spend on Azure. There are no tiers, no automatic billing adjustments, and no surprises. You get the same full report whether your Azure bill is $500 or $50,000.
How do I pay?
Billing is handled securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit cards. You'll receive a receipt automatically each month.
